mechanical spedo vs electronic question (help)

Hey guys I just swapped the stock t-45 out of my 96 Gt for a fresh rebuilt. Long story short the spedo cable will not plug into the bottom of the tranny, It appears to be a a newer transmission with the electronic connection...Do they sell an adapter??
Any help will be great!

The 1998 and older uses a Vehicle speed sensor (VSS) sensor.

The 1999+'s uses an output shaft sensor (OSS).

The sensor outputs are NOT compatible with each other.

Suggest starting by looking for and extended range Speedcal.
