I bought a megasquirt pnp2 for my foxbody and trying to figure it out because I'll get it to idle roughly and then the auto tuning feature makes it so the car shuts off and won't even start anymore. any tips/suggestions on the MAF vs speed density argument?
Your asking a few different things here.
I need to know what your working with, wideband ect. And if you calibrated all the sensors. Does the MS and the wideband read the same value?
The tune and software are only as reliable as the sensor input you give them.
As for speed density vs maf. You can tune either on MS, however fwiw most oem have moved back to a speed density algorithm.
