MegaSquirt??

I heard on Probetalk that they use a system called "megasquirt" sounds kinda like that tweeker that we have. Says it'll work on 8cylinders and stuff. Anybody familiar with this at all? Info would be appreciated. I kinda wanna see about messing with that stuff on my car

It looks to me like it's a stand-alone FMIC. Dude, Unless you're some sort of engineering whiz then I'd stay clear of this as it looks like amateurs need not apply. I guess you can compare this system to the AEM ecu replacement which is full stand-alone as well and is very complicated for the average person from what I've read.
