Has anyone changed their factory ECM to the Megasquirt ECM system?

Yep, I had a complete MS1 setup on my turbo fox running the high_res code utilizing ls2 COP's in wasted spark (and before that, the stock TFI).

It's a great system and provides near endless tenability and near every add-on you could imagine. Learning how to setup everything correctly will take some time however…as will tuning. You will also need a wideband to be able to properly utilize the squirt and tune.

Did you buy the kit or did you get the preassemble unit and what was the cost of the total system?

I purchased the kit and harness from diyautotune. The intial cost was on par with what a dyno tune would be including the wideband 02 sensor.
