Well, since I'm not in any position for me to win in F-Stock anyway, or even beat a car except for the 73 Z/28, I'm sure they won't mind me running in F-Stock for the rest of the season. :D ;)

Yeah, if I started winning because of the Tri-Ax, then I would alert them, but since I came in last place last time, with the Tri-Ax in (even though I think I was babying it because of the popping problem) then I see no reason to change.

thats a good policy to go by! and i brung what i had last time and i thought i brung it pretty good! and ive been thinking, i might do the gears like tj said! im thinking 4.56's! that should wake up my 4 banger! what kinda class would that put me in?

:eek: Too much! I mean, unless you like redlining your final gear at 60 mph. It wouldn't do too well for AutoXing, either. Now drag racing...:eek:

Exactly. If it gets to the point where I'm getting close to ESP times, I'll upclass. Until then, it's all good.

It's a little different with 4-bangers. He could very well have 3.55's or 3.73's in there stock. I had a little pickup (it's tires were smaller than my stang's) that came with 4.11's mated to the 1.8L.

Before ordering the 4.56's, I'd find out what you have now white. Then go from there.

Dude...no one can beat you anyway. They've come close (prolly cheating the system, too) but still you're winning a lot. Would TJ rat you out? Since he would know you had the pullies in, yet running out of class...:confused:

well yeah thats what i was gonna do! and then after that im gonna see what he charges, and work from there! but first priority is those wheels! cus then i can run balls to the wall and chew the crap out of the tires i have now!

Really? That seems a bit much, though. But, I digress to the expert. :D
 
As far as class, any gear change will up class you out of stock (legally) and it'll bump you out of street prepared to prepared unless they were available in another 4 banger mustang (like the SVO). For instance, ESP mustangs can legally run 3.55's because the 2K R had em. No mustang ever came with 3.73's so they're illegal.

EDIT: No V8 mustang anyways.

thats what i figured! atleast i wont have to run against jerry! but maybe i would rather run against him then the street prepared guys! but what if i dont say anything about the gears! is there anyway that they would know i had them! other then someone telling them?
