as to the intercooler, maybe im blind...but i didnt see one on any of those cars? there was one on a Turbo MR2, but the turbo had already been removed. If you want the one off the MR2, just let me know. It might need alittle reconditioning on the outside, but other than that it looks like its perfectly fine.

You outta go out to sports authority tonight! If you get the message by tonight and decide to head out there....I'll be in a light blue hatchback with 10 holes..

Yes, he is VERY lucky! Glad he's alright though and his car didn't get too messed up. Sorry, but I sorta like the altezzas.....does anybody have a pic of them in a red fox body?

Well, I got the clutch done today....I spent about a total of 3 hours under the car, from taking out the drive shaft and putting it all back in. Now my harmonic balancer is bad! This time I'll get a new one.

1bad, i was planning on going out to the races tonight...but they dont start till around 11ish. what time you goin upto sports authority? its on my way, so might as well stop by and bs for a bit.

i swear, your luck with that car must be as bad as mine. seems you fix one thing, than something else breaks. you fix that, then the thing you fixed before breaks again. its a vicious cycle isnt it.

Hey Guys, Jason fixed my computer and now i can check my emails every night. I think i have missed too much to check back, unless i get really really really bored, i mean seriously bored. I know there was something about Erich wanting to race me? Something about a turbo, and the # 1 reason why putting altezza lights are .... and that's all i know about. Well and only cause jason told me.

Droptop- I saw your car at the races at the midnight drag thing. you were like right in front of me before one of my runs. After, you were like gone. Around 12:30-1ish a ton of cars left.

well i got out there right at 10, drove around the parking lot and didnt see a light blue stang w/ 10 holes anywhere. i went, got some gas...and came back, still no stang. so i headed on down to the races. sorry i missed ya, maybe next week?

well...as to Erich wanting to race you...i think it would be a good race. Hopefully the two hours Erich took adjusting his tri-ax will be worth somethin, and make up the hp difference.

as to the turbo, that was supposed to be mine. i was originally supposed to be getting a turbo off of a Conquest, and either put it on my car...or sell it or somethin. turned out i got screwed over on that one, so unless the guy changes his mind...thats not happening.

and the midnight drags were just dumb if you ask me. $15, for no timeslips...and a much MUCH longer wait than normal test and tune nights just didnt go over too well with me. i left at about 1:30, got there around 10:45...and only made 2 runs (one, being in the "fast" lanes). atleast i got to see lugo run...that was about the only thing worth being there for. sorry i missed you run...i wasnt quite sure if it was you or not, you just looked familiar, and the red z...i just didnt put 2 and 2 together.

whether i race erich, or race period. I only have less then 2 weeks left, before i move to Miami. So this race that's not going to happen between erich and i has to happen soon. too bad erich is scared too run his car out at the track

Excuse me, Erich loves his car too much to run it at the track. And, since my parents don't want me racing it at the tack, and since technically it is their car (unfortenately), I'm screwed either way.

Well I got my convertible back from Lamotta today. Was kind of fun going down 17-92 going 50mph in second gear while it was raining. I was turning some nice rpms and the car is making a lot more HP since I last drove it, made for some nice traction issues
Anyways I think its a valve body problem with the car not wanting to go into third gear. I will talk with Performance Automatic and check out what they think. Anything is better than me having to take out my tranny and ship it back to them. I can easily do a valve body swap at my work and have the car back on the road in an hour. I also plan on asking for a reverse manual valve body for a replacement instead of another transbrake valve body. I have heard some stuff on the transbrake valve body being a problem maker and I would rather not have to turn a switch on then put it in R everytime I want to back up.

Untouchable - What do you run the 1/4 in??? I have a 2000 GT Vert and have run it at Bithlo. It comprable to Erics except its a bit heavier. I guess about 200 lbs.

I met a guy yesterday at Sears (we wre both buying floor jacks) He just bought a 2003 Cobra. He went and had it dyno'd right off and came up with 363 RWHP. That puts flywheel at around 420. Looks like Ford learned its lesson.

He put on a Bassani X pipe and a Steeda Cat back and re-Dyno'd and came up with 395 RWHP. DAMN!!!!!

I am still tying to figure out how a Roushe 360R can outrun a Cobra in the 1/4. Unless they put some 3:90 gears in it.

MM&FF only rated the 360R to run a 12.94@106

There was an 03 at the track last friday night running mid to low 12's at 116....yes he was on slicks.

I used to be afraid of this car until I saw your figures.

I am taking my RX-7 out to the track for the 1st time next week.

I might go to Bithlo and the dude in the Cobra might tag along.

When do you all go there?? Isn't there a test and tune on Friday night??

they do test and tune on wednesdays and fridays. itll probably be a while before i get to go again

I would love to let you drive my RX-7 you would poop yourself. 1st gear is over before you know what happened.

I let my dad drive it and he buried the tach. My S-AFC registered 9,960 RPM!!! I couldn't yell SHIFT fast enough. After that we agreed for him not to floor it in 1st anymore.

I am dying to see what my RX-7 will run the 1/4 in!!! I have never ran it.

i know i would poop myself! next time i have a wednesday night of friday night off, ill let you know, and we'll hit the track! if im not in orlando on sunday, ill see ya at bcc! is there practice for this one? i have the whole weekend off, so maybe i can at least make it for practice!

i'd like to be out there when you run it. most of the older rx-7's i see just make alot of noise, but dont go anywhere fast. and i wont even comment on the ones that goto the street races

ontop of that, i havent really gotten to see a 03 cobra up close. i saw one at the track not too long ago, but didnt get a really good look at it. so wednesday or friday...whatta you think?
