I may or may not be at AutoX...depending on my condition. Someone bring a video camera...I know there are bound to be people screwing up left and right.

wow...slicks kick ass.
i pulled a 1.8 60 ft. tonight, on almost stock suspension.
even though i couldnt drive to save my right...well, you know. it still felt good to actually be able to get off the line and stay next to that 10 sec. car for the first 60 or so feet.

Sorry I have not posted in a while really busy AND computer problems.
I could not track down the dude with the Cobra.
But - I did go to Moroso in West Palm Beach tonight. Its only 20 minutes from my house and Bithlo is over 2 hours.
My intentions were to show up MR. 360R Mustang man. He was a no show. All show no go.
Here are my 1/4 mile times for my RX-7. I remember someone saying something about them making a lot of noise andnot moving I hope this is fast enough

BTW- I destroyed to S2000 twice!! He ended up next to me both times. He changed lanes after the 3rd run. I think he was getting tired of looking bad.
I know the reaction time is bad this was my 3rd run and my 1st and second were 0.530 and 0.611 respectivly. So I snoozed on the last run.
ALSO - My engine is running at 75% right now. In late September early October I am getting the engine rebuilt and I am expecting low 12's high 11's. 360R boy should have showed up this was his only chance to beat me.

well...thats one nice rx-7. just figured i'd post my slip from last night and see if you guys had any suggestions. not my best times, but i seem to have lost my 12.98 slip somehwere 
. the track was complete and total ****, Lugo ran a best of 11.3x...but i heard they were racing that yellow viper with the nitrous for $1500...and won. 
i got in three runs...first one i bolted up the slicks and noticed that the right one only had like 10psi in it. so i said screw it, and aired down the left one to 10psi also. launched, and hooked a 1.86 60' (almost snapped my neck, i wasnt expecting it to hook THAT hard ). i was running against a new 2002 SS with lid, ram air, chip, and full exhaust. i had him all the way thru 3rd, and then the back end starting walking EVERYWHERE. i had to let off, cause im not quite used to having to steer against the car...but the SS went on to run a 12.86, and i was ahead of him by alittle more than a car when i let off. so i definately think the car has more in it.
second run...put air in the slicks, and ran em at 17psi. i ran a 92 saleen with a novi 2000 on it. very nice (and quick) car.

i think the car is running out of fuel on the top end, cause its really laying down over 4500rpms. i really need to get an AFPR, and get this bastard dyno tuned, see if i can get this all straightened out.
i was launching at 3k, shifting 1-2 at 6k, and everything else between 5 and 5500rpms. i wasnt powershifting...cause i was tired of missing gears, and just wanted to see what it would do. hopefully ill make it up there next wednesday or friday...and see what i can do. you guys got any driving tips for me?

Not bad man.....this winter I want to bolt the slicks back up to mine again. Maybe i'll actually have some gears out back too. I was running like $h!t too. I kept missing 4th and running two 14.4's and 2 14.2's. I take it you have the stock axles? If not try launching at around 4000 next time. My friend is launch there on his stock axles and pulling mid 1.5 60's on 100% stock suspension, granted he is running 120+ through the traps. Let me know when you go back out again, i'll try and make it too. Peace.
