I think mine sound horride.Its just has this high pitch rattle at 2000 and up rpm.Its sounds like its really bouncing off the floor boards.Prolly gonna get the MAC dumps or bassani.I dont like the magnablows..Errr I mean magnaflows sound.
I actually saw your friends hatchback up there today, Jay was finishing it when I brought my vert up there around 2:30 so he could weld the air pipe on my H-pipe shut. Your friends car sounds pretty good, but the 10 holes are hurting the look.

Well, I'm really not complaining that much.. I did get a ribbon and a $50 gift certificate, but that's pretty much just an "Honorable Mention" type thing. Out of 150 entries for the show, 51 of them actually got in the show ( me included ) then 10 of those got an award.( me included ) So, I'm pretty pleased at how well I did for my first time.

According to "everyone" here, Erich's car has that " Nascar " sound to it, and he's got Magnapacks or MagnaFlows or whatever.. and THAT sounds great. So I dunno what everyones definition on " Nascar " sound is... but what he has is awesome.

Actually, I just picked a time off the top of my head that felt right for a 4-cyl. Then said 84 because my digital speedo stops at 85 and flashes, and I don't think my car can get much faster than that in a 1/4 mile.

Another gripe I had with the art show:
There was one "big" award for best 2-D art. That means one big award for whoever had an actual drawing or sketch, whoever had a photograph, whoever had a print, or whoever had a painting, or whoever had a digital image. Now, in my opinion, there should be an award for each individual genre of 2-D art.
Best of Show - Drawing
Best of Show - Painting
Best of Show - Photography.. etc..
But no, aparently 2-D art is 2-D art and that is that.
Look at it this way:
One person can get a couple rolls of film, take a hundred pictures at random, 3 of those pictures came out really good, just by chance. They enter those into the art show and take home an honorable mention and Best of Show award for the 2-D genre.
Meanwhile, the "real" artist spends hours and hours using an actual talent to CREATE something out of nothing , creates an incredible piece of work and walks away with just an honorable mention, while the " photographer " walks away with Best of Show for accidentally taking a good picture.
How fair is that?

Hey Glenn, I got someone to rev the engine to 4k and the balancer looked fine. I noticed some high RPM vibration when I was getting on it on the way home, but nothing too serious. I'll have to get my cousin to listen to the highway vibration.

Tomorrow, he'll be ordering some AFR165's then doing some research on what can he should get since he already had a GT40 intake (Not the greatest, but he's going to use it since he already has it). I sold him my welds and they have some really nasty worn tires on them right now......that's why the 10 holes are still on, hopefully he'll be buying skinnies doon got up front......eh, i miss my mustang

Hey guys. Well I'm hoping to come out this coming week. IF Dan moves outta his place I'll be staying with him and helping him move.. anybody got any ideas of fun thigns to do out there.. my best friend just moved out there and whenever Dan was working hima nd I were gonna go riding and find stuff to do.. Hopefully I'll be able to stay with Dan otherwise it'll be a few more weeks.... Any ideas would be great

you should come out to the 1 yr. MMORL anniversary meeting at Hooters. I'll be there, and I think Dan said he's going out too (along with all the other MMORL members). And we never did go see the ring...

1Bad89...neither. 3.1 Camaro. It's basically a 2.8 V6, but stroked. 140 hp, 185 ft lbs stock.
Josh....remember before I told you friends of mine said my tires angle out with the car when I turn hard, and you said I must have stiff as hell springs? I jacked the rear up. The springs gave no sag whatsoever. Soon as the pumpkin came up, the tires came off the ground. I checked for binding devices, etc..but didn't see any. There's about a 3/4" gap between the coils if I remember right, and one of them has a green tag on it but I can't read what the hell it says...faded off. All I know is though...i gotta get those SOB's off of there!

Cuz I may not be driving next weekend.... my friend was gonna drop me of on her way to her b/f's in orlando so... hmmmmmm...... i dunno... might have to wait till another weekend... Dan it'll be ok..
