Well I can get on base...just not alone and without my parents.
I did notice that the blockade they have setup at the gate by the Commisary would be no match for a skilled autocross driver :D

I'll hold the camera...:D

Well if you want an H pipe, the Bassani wouldn't be the best choice for power. Bassani is a straight through which helps with mid to high end power and are typically mated to an X pipe, which also work to build mid-high end power. Chambered mufflers (like flows) will work with the H pipe to build low end torque. Straight throughs will work with H-pipes but in my opinion, it's better to decide on HP or TQ and stick with it.

As far as what is needed, you really don't need to buy everything seperately. When you buy a cat-back, it includes everything. You basically just unbolt the stock muffler/tail-pipe assembly an bolt the new system up in its place. It's the same for the crossover tube. You unbolt the crossover tube/cat assembly and bolt the new stuff up.

TJ can get whatever you want. He's a Bassani dealer, but he also installs flows and Dynomax and probably everything else. His prices are average for a race shop. You can get stuff cheaper on the web or mailorder, but you can't go ***** at the web when somethings wrong or you need a little help with something. I could go other places and get stuff cheaper, but I like to support local speed shops as it keeps me in the know on what's happening locally.

Well, since you suggested Bassani, that was the one I was checking out. Ol' man is getting senile in his old age. :jester: ;) Okay, so I should go with Dynomax, perhaps? I do hear good things about them. I'll go find some sound clips and see if I like any of their stuff. And this is definately not something I'd do myself. After screwups with basically everything I've ever tried to put on myself (some decals, bullitt pedals, K&N air filter, tri-ax) I think I'll be taking it to a shop for sure this time. What's the crossover tube? And I also definately want more TQ than HP. :D :flag:

Depends on your budget. I would suggest Bassani, but you're right. Chambered mufflers work better with H-pipes to develop torque. So I guess it boils down to how much you want to pay, or rather, how much you're willing to pay.

Gee, what's it say there? I would suggest Bassani but you're right. Now maybe I'm just weird, but I would take that to say I would suggest Bassani except you want to go with a different setup... Sheesh, I tell ya. Kids nowadays. Why, in my day blah, blah, blah :D :nice: :flag:

:OT: You know guys, I never knew what I was missing posting from home. I can sit here with the dog sleeping on my feet, a cold beer in front of me, some "System of a Down" blaring in the background, and just post. Post, post, post. And what's more, since the majority of my posts are tech related (please mods, don't look at this one  ), I can't be accused of wh0ring! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

EDIT: I guess now that I can download, I oughtta look at getting AIM, an avatar, probably post some pics...

Yep, you should have done it months ago. :D Yeah, you need to get AIM, too. Nice for quick questions. I think I ahve more exhaust ?'s, but I'm too tired to ask them tonight. I guess I should just go to trick pro and talk to TJ.

I'm sure I could just do a search, but since I'm lazy, where can I download it? And WTF is it? Just like a messenger or what?

And if you have any exhaust questions, just ask. I'd like to try and help if I can... :flag:

You guys actually do aftermarket exhaust mods at the dealership??? Does that include o/r pipes?

We do not do that kind of work for our regular customers. This certain 99 cobra use to belong to one of our employees. He had the o/r x-pipe put on at the time he still owned it.

Just go to aol.com and get it. Yeah, it's like messenger...hey wait, do you have MSN? Cause I do. I think it's better, actually. Can't think of any more exhaust. I'm just trying to find a good exhuast, now. When's the next time you're going out to Trick Pro?

It'll be a 5 second ride...5 seconds from the door closing to the turn of the key.

actually i was suprised i got it back today, i drove it around some, and nothing exploded, busted, leaked, fell apart, or stopped working. (yet  ) But the trend seems to be, i get it for 2 days and something breaks, leaks, explodes, stops working, or falls apart. So hopefully i can go 3 days  . Just long enough to go out tomorrow night to the track, and run it a few times.

Anyways, Congratulations Baglock for your new found discovery of your computer at home, and the convenience of it. Before you know it, he's going to be a computer dork ... i mean genius, like jason and have all sorts of things on his computer. :nice: :jester:
