The fan was wired to a temp switch, not tied in with the a/c unit whatsoever. I didn't do the wiring job. It was wired to run 24/7 when I FIRST got the car, before Gene re-wired it.
And about the condenser...it's mounted on the front side, as in NOT on the engine side of the radiator right? Just for reference. Thanks for the info man...I was wondering about that.

By the way, the fan is fairly small....looks like it was meant for a 6 cylinder. And the new fan isn't on a thermostatic clutch...it's one of those flexfans. Feels like it's sucking horsepower at lower rpms but once it picks up that disappears. Everyone tells me "you'll never feel it"....well I have a very sensitive ass.....
