Just like most of you, I have been following progress of Reenmachine's DOHC 67 Shelby Clone Convertible with great interest.

Surely it's about time it was made a "Sticky", after all it has now had over 7000 reads and almost 200 posts.

What do you all reckon?

I think stickies should be reserved for administrative purposes. Some site have too many stickies. If a thread is hot it will stay on top w/o needing help. I simple search would turn it up, and a subscription will notify you every time someone replies. I say no to any sticky that is not for admin purposes.

Technically speaking, the car is for sale, which means it belongs in the classifieds. Please don't hurt me!

well, it and SN65 are pretty much built for the same purpose. Either sticky them both or don't sticky either. And I vote sticky both.

AFAIK SN65 is being built as a personal driver. Not to be sold. That's what the builder has been saying from day 1 anyway. Also, IMO the SN65 project is more difficult and interesting. However, I do agree that it is similar in that it probably shouldn't be stickied either.
