Western shore? But yea I do have a chrome mustang license plate frame but it got all pitted and rusted from the salt n **** in the winter so I just keep this one on for the time being. :nice:

*sidenote* Can tips have an effect on exhaust tone, I might be crazy, but it sound a tiny bit louder now?

Yes.
The flare or roll of a tip, as well as diameter, can impact intonation as well as volume to a small degree.
what he said. When I took my SLP tips off to clean them, I ran to the store for some pron. There was a noticeable difference' it sounded louder and sloppier.

Catman, is there a slight slash-cut to those tips or are they straight-cut?

Yea, it def seems to chug and burble a lil more at idle.

Man those stock magnaflow tips were a major PITA to remove, that was the worst part, took me like 3 hours with a bunch of breaks inbetween cause it was so damn hot.

No they are slash-cut, similar to the magnaflows but I guess it's just harder to tell cause they're rounded.
cool, Ive been debating whether to get them or the SLP tips I used to have. The SLP tips are (I think) the nicest looking ones out there. Prices are about the same as MRT's though, and it would be weird having SLP tips on a Bassani C/B, I guess. I like those man, looks good :nice:

thanks.

Thanx for the compliments guys.

I actually got the MRTs from a group purchase threw Mach1registry a while ago so I'm not sure on prices and all that now. But the SLP tips are sweet too, those are the double walled ones right?

yep, double-walled, rolled tips like MRT's. Prices are similar, looking at $120-$130 for either brand.

Ouch, I think I paid $70 at the time I think. The MRTs come in polished and black chrome, I almost got those, those are pretty cool too.
