metal repair in a tube?

On a recent trip to Autozone, I notice they had some products to repair metal mixed in with the sealants and stuff. I think they were two part chemicals that hardened when mixed and could be sanded and painted. Does anybody have experience with this stuff?
I have a small hole behind one of my tailights and thought about using it since it would never be seen. This would be temporary until a paint job just to keep out the wet stuff.

I work in the industrial chemical buisness and we use Devcon. They have different types of metal repair stuff (titanium, steel, aluminum) and it is the 2 part mixing type. The only draw back is it only comes in 1 lb cans. Whatever brand you get it is best to practice with a small amount first because you will only have a couple of minutes to get it on before it hardens.

My uncle had a bob cat and when he bought it he noticed that the side of the block was patched together with some stuff called "J.B. weld", it probly threw a rod one day. that stuff is a metal bonber/filler and its 2 part aswell... it held together as long as he owned that bobcat..... for a non stress out of sight location id try it.....

Isn't that one "stories" on the packet for advertising. I think it actually shows the guy putting it on the tractor block. Seriously, maybe your uncle bought that bobcat from the guy they took that story from.

Have you guys seen the commericals for 'Alumaloy'? Looks pretty cool.

It's basically a long rod and you can use a portable propane torch to heat the metal, with similar results to laying down a weld.
