Finally got around to putting this shifter in. After forgetting the plastic guide my first time I got it in and running. The shifts are very short and positive. I can't imagine going back to the stocker after driving with the MGW.

Some trivia about my shifter:

I bought it used from Bennyblown2v
Who bought is used from Saleen2001
Who bought it from someone else.

Both Bennyblown2v and Saleen2001 sold this to upgrade to a Viper spec 6 speed and both are in the middle of upgrading / building 500+ hp street cars.

I figure my path is clear and have started a fund for my 6 speed upgrade....

You just like planning out builds... Admit it. How many different forms has your car taken so far?

IRS, Built 8.8, s/c, turbo, built block, cobra block...etc!!! Hell just crank the boost until it breaks. Then you have to build something!!!

Good luck whatever you decide,

Matt

Well... it was stock, then full "bolton" style suspension, then my rear end broke, so then it was an IRS/coilover car, then I did the SC, then I did the "rest" of the suspension, then I did a built solid, didn't like that so I went back to a modded IRS, then this last time I was gonna switch to a turbo kit but lost the deal on the turbo I was gonna use so I decided to do motor, fuel, and drivetrain. But I'm running out of money and really don't feel like selling my personal possessions to make it work this season so I'm just gonna run a bit more boost on the stock block and let it all hangout in the spring

deftsound

Please ask me how much my supercharger cost

Bet your loving that MWG, besides subframes I think the MGW is the best mod for a stang. My father still misses third from time to time but he is used to his Vette and their linkages suck. Do they make MGW for the six speed, when I turbo mine I want to step up to a six speed but mabey not if MGW doesnt make a short throw for them.

They sure do. I think they even make shifters for the Viper.

The difference it makes in my daily drive is surprising. It makes the whole car feel tighter and more sporty. I know thats all in my head... but hey thats where it counts...

I need to figure out how to get subframes with my side exhaust and I will be golden!

THANK YOU lol..
OK the 600cc bikes are NOT as fast as the 636.. I think there is another guy on here that has one, and runs 10's stock.. They have alot of power AFTER 10grand lol then they pull like a MoFo all the way till 15.5.. its like hittin Vtec at 10.. jk

Not to pull from this thread, Iam very sorry..
The MGW is the **** lol I love the fact that you can move and re-position the handle for your comfort.

Save your money and buy something like a supercharger instead of a 6 speed. The T-56 has 2 overdrives. I believe 6th gear is .61:1 and your TR-3650 has a .63:1 5th. Adding a .8:1 5th gear overdrive isnt an upgrade.

I prefer the gearing of the 3650 myself...Even my buddy with an 03 Cobra with the stock 355's said he liked the gearing in the 3650 better...If I ever upgrade, I will just buy a stronger 5 spd...No need for the 6 spd imo...

LOL, that shifter has really been around!!
i liked it so much i bought one for my viper spec. so i guess now you'll really have to start saving some serious cash so you can reallly start playing!
then you can sell the shifter to someone else and the process will start all over again
