Oh it's better, trust me. Even compared to when the stocker shifted well, it was still a long throw and much slower. This is just so much quicker to shift now. And the install was easy, as I've said in other posts, I am a girl and have no experience working on cars, I'm learning as I go and it was no problem at all.
