i got my mgw 1 week ago, i opened it looked @ it etc, i won't be able to get it on untill 1 week, shall i keep the plastic bag that has the shifter + the grease sealed, or leave it open a little bit for some air?

When its on your car is it going to be wraped in the plastic bag? If it's made from quality materials nothing should happen to it form sitting out of its bag.
