Yeah def.. I followed the directions. Tighten to the shaft when in 2nd, then back out one full turn.. do the same thing for the rear stop with the car in 4th. I'm gonna go with what MGW says on this one
i've got the b&m shifter and when i put it in the instructions said they were phasing out the use of shift stops becuase they were really not nececary. I have a t45 and not had any problems with it in over a year.
I think the t-45 may have stops as well? I can rember reading a tech post were the tremec people said no stops on either tranny because I did set my stops. I though it may be bad but they even said stops are only bad if they come out of ajustment. it is in between shifts that kill the tranny.
t-45 is from 99-mid 01
mid01-05 is 3650
call tremec. they designed the tranny they know for sure.
