I was planning on using microfiber the next time I buff out my car. Where is the best place to get them for a good quality and not too expensive towel?

www.wcdetail.com sells these great soft plush mf towels for only 1.89 each. Rodert (the owner) sent my a free one when I made a purchase and I plan on buying at least 10. If you want something local Target selld VROOM brand mt towels that are good. The white 12 packs for 8 bucks fells softer than the 6 pack blue one they carry.

Don't cheap out when you are buying microfiber. Cheaply made (and sold) microfiber towels could and probably will scratch your paint over time. Just remember you get what you pay for. I would invest in some quality microfiber.

I've been using the ones you can buy at AutoZone. They work great.

Here is the deal with buying microfiber from WalMart and Auto Parts stores. Microfiber is mostly made in Asia. The quality control generally sucks so you have to rely on the vendor to do their own quality control. The problem is places like WalMart and the auto parts stores generally buy from whomever offers the lowest price. The quality can vary from good to bad so it is a crap shoot as the quality from one day to the next.

I generally buy my microfiber from either www.pakshak.com or www.autopia-carcare.com. The quality is generally much better than what you will find locally and that quality is consistant over time. Yes, you are gonna pay more at places like I mentioned but, with microfiber the old addage definitely applies that "you get what you pay for".

Ohh I forgot to mention that Meguiars has started offering some very good microfiber in the Gold Class accessory line that is available at WalMart and local auto parts stores. If I were to buy locally that is what I would get.

If you don't feel like ordering online, Sam's are the best ones you could probably get locally. I was impressed by the quality of them. They are not the best, but they are pretty good.
