trying to figure out which headers go with when I slap a Vortech the GT. I'm looking at Bassani mid-lengths or BBK long tubes. What the advantages/disadvantages with either one of them? If it helps any, I'm bolting up Borla Stingers behind it

Did your Bassani midlengths make your exhaust note louder?Stang|ess said:I have Bassani headers, midpipe, and stinger catback and it sounds quite awesome.
Midlengths:
dont have to remove passenger header to do tranny work
better ground clearance than LTs
much better quality than BBK
LTs:
I suppose slightly better scavenging for more power.
Cons are just the opposite of the pros for the other i.e. pro of midlength is better ground clearance, so the con of LT would be worse ground clearance![]()
.There is a pair of the Bassani SS on ebay now for $450 new.Very good deal for someone.sjrtx said:Save yourself a lot of trouble when it comes time to do clutch/tranny work and get midlengths. The slight difference powerwise between the two (maybe 2-3hp) wont be worth the trouble when it comes time to change the clutch, TOB etc etc.

I think I might lean towards LT's...
