I'm almost finished with my tranny project and I cant seem to get my mid-pipe into where it needs to be. Its got the two poles that slide in next to the transmission the hold the mid pipe up...but I cant seem to get them into there. Can anyone help me? Thanks.

stock stuff? did it come out of the car?

you might be getting stuck on the header studs.
if its new, you may need to do some bending.

edit: ive only got one on mine. and it holds it up good.

I used to unbolt my driveshaft and rest the back of it on the differential. It gave me more clearance to line up the pipe to the hangers. When I put in my scattershield, I couldn't get them to slide in even using that method. So I just didn't put my hanger back in on a friend's recommendation. People have said it wouldn't work, but I have had no problems with the transmission bouncing around. That way I didn't have to cut anything. Not using the hangers makes it slightly harder to bolt everything up because the hangers keep it in place, but all you have to do is rest it on a jack. It certainly is easier than playing around with it trying to line the hangers up.
