Need help in deciding on a mid pipe change. With the mods below how much will I gain if I go with a catted mid pipe (still is stock from headers to the magnaflows)?

I'm trying to keep the car as stock as possible in appearance and sound but I hate giving away HP!

Thanks, Mike.

i'd go with a 2 catted x, buddy of mine had a similar setup without the blower and sounded good but not stupid loud.

If you want HP, get an off road X pipe.

If you want deep sound, get an off road H pipe.

In most cases, not all, H pipes give more low end growl and X pipes are more of an 'exotic', high end sound. H's usually promote torque, and X's promote higher end horse power. Either one is a solid upgrade from stock. It just depends on the sound you want, and wheather you want to stay legal with catalytic convertors too.

Thanks guys, but can anyone tell me how much horsepower the stock pipe and cats are costing me? I'm trying to decide if a new midpipe is worth the $

A new midpipe is worth the $ since the stock pipe is 2 1/4" with 4 cats.

As for the gain in horsepower, I can not say a definate number.

But with the mods listed I would say you can expect a good increase

I won't put a number on it but, WHAT???? Youve got a motor like that + a blower and you have a stock h-pipe?

What r u thinking? ANY after market mid pipe WITH or WITH OUT cats is going to turn that into a NEW BEAST!!!!!! You are holding back all sorts of HP & torque with the 2.25, 4 catted h-pipe!
