Congrats man. Glad it's all coming together for ya.

I've actually be looking around at houses myself. Theres one right next door to work that has a nice bit of property around it, 2 car garage, and some other shady "garage" space as well. They were asking like $225 but even the Realtor I was using said it's way too much. I heard the other day the people are really hurting for money so put in an offer and see what happens. The house is older and needs work, like I said there is some shady stuff built onto the back of the garage which eventually would get ripped out, and there's an old mobile home that I would get rid of (actually a second one as well which is part of the shady garage space). Plus the place was only appraised for like 75 something. It's gonna take some money to make it 100% so I was thinking offering like 100 and see what happens. Worst they can do is tell me no. Dumb to let it sit there and pay on it when nobody is living in it and you don't have money to pay for your own bills let alone an empty house

If it only appraised at 75...its going to be hard to get a bank to loan anything over that unless your making up the difference with cash and still have enough for the down payment on the 75 portion. That just screams whole lotta trouble.

Congrats! enjoy a nice big garage...guess this means you can keep both cars since the payments will be such a savings?????
