A friend at work has a 2005 subaru wrx. He just got a new down pipe wastegate and exaust for it. He also just reprogramed his comp. His is running 17.9 lbs of boost on the turbo. He told me today that he was going to upgrade his turbo in the next month or so. Is it possible to put a subaru turbo on a stang. I have a 89 302 with 9:1 comp. I will have to have the turbo turned down, as not to waste my motor, but I can still get it in the 8-12 lbs of boost area. Give me your input guys.

Too small for your 302.....unless you plan on getting another one and going with a set of twins.

It looks like the wrx turbo is considerably smaller, but I'd want to know the actual specs and at a minimum, take a look at a compressor map.

if you don't have either, go to turbomustangs.com and ask their, or try our forced induction forums

ms93gt, Millhouse, etc.

More pictures/questions/answers over there than you can shake a stick at!
