What backspacing are your wheels?
how sunk in do they look? 5.95" is over an inch of too much BS. You could go with a wheel adapter....they will run you about $100 for two of them. That will give you a little more clearance. However, your brakes will be spaced far back into your wheel.
How much do you want them moved out/? pics?
What year is the car? I have used those wheels on a '68 with a 1" spacer/adapter up front and 245/45-17 tires and it's perfect.
DO NOT use longer studs through a simple spacer. You must get proper adapters, which bolt to your existing studs and then have new studs for the wheel.
Do you have a link for those spacers? That sounds too cheap to be the right thing unless that's "each".thats just about perfect... heres a pic of it with bullitts before and ugly bodywork

I know "Fearless Fred" -- my dad was a pro drag racer back in the late 60's and he and Fred used to get in trouble together. I have also used his wheel spacers. In fact, they are on the car in the pic I posted above. They are hub-centric and flawless.I Just got off the phone with an old timer machine shop guy out in Cali, Fred Goeske... Really nice guy, he said $40 each for up to 3/4" and $60 each up to 1.5". All american aluminum and gaurenteed for life.

I kind of like the front wheels tucked in.
Are you going to run a fender flare in the rear? It looks like those tires stick out a good bit from the 1/4 panel
