OK, what did I do wrong? I got a MIL after my O/R H-pipe install so I ordered a set of MIL eliminators and put them in Monday. I disconnected the negative battery cable for 15 min and the light went away, I noticed the stereo remembered its presets and the clock resumed from where it stopped. The light came back on today, did I not leave the battery disconnected long enough? I can bring it to Autozone to check it out, but they are over 25 miles away and hope I just did something wrong.

I know on my Fox to reset the computer I would have to disconnect the battery for a few min and then touch the ground to the positive wire breifly to discharge the capacitors. Do I do the same with this cars computer, I dont want to hurt the ECU.

My rear 02's from americanmuscle didn't work. Ordered them with my Prochamber, shop installed them correctly on the rears, and I'd still get 4, 6, or 8 error codes. Finally got it perma-fixed @ the dynotune.

Ya, they are on the rear o2's. I have not brought it to Autozone yet to hook up the tester because they are far away and its raining like hell right now. It never had a MIL before the O/R pipe so I just took for granite that it is the problem. I reset them again with the cable off for an hour and discharged by turning on the lights, I will see if it comes back.

I see you have a jet chip, don't know if they do reflashes for you or what, but you can just have a tuner turn them off, as stated above.

I put a bassani O/R x-pipe on my 97 mustang gt and bought a couple mil eliminators off of ebay for like $10. I put them on, unhooked my battery and the light came off for a hundred miles at the most and then it came back on. The seller told me to clean the 02 sensors and if it still never worked, my sensors were hooped. I cleaned the sensors and nothing happened at all. I got sick of the light being on so I took my car to the mechanic and got it scanned and he told me that the catalytic converters werent working properly(I have none). So I was wondering if it was in fact the 02 sensors that werent working properly, would it have showed up on his scanner, and not the catalytic converters malfunctioning. I believe that the simulators aren't working right but the seller assures me it is the 02 sensors. I don't know what to do... Anyone have any ideas??
