Milky Oil??

Replaced my valve covers and noticed oil color on rockers similar to that of the color of coffee after sugar has been mixed in about this color

I know, classic head gasket symptom but mind you I have had the car parked since Dec. swapping to carb and the car has seen no hot cycles, just brief 30 second occasional idles while I adjusted the carb. I also found white vaseline type consistancy goo on the old valve covers (which has since vanished off them in the floor of my garage). Valve cover breathers appeared to have water droplets on them

frantically I performed an oil change yet every bit of what drained out was normal pure dark oil

could this be some type of condensation mix after having the top end off and short 30 sec runs with no hot cycles or am I likely looking at bigger probs?

Radiator coolant level is holding at full and hasnt dropped

I ran it to hot a few minutes ago and engine temp holding at normal after a 30 minute drive around the block and exhaust smells normal with no smoke

is it milky coming out of the drain? it could be an intake seeping. like coolant going in to the intake side causeing steam in the valve covers.

It's good that what drained out was still okay, I wouldn't panic.

no, when I drained it it all came out normal colored

Very short periods of operation promote water/moisture more than long periods.
If this is stored indoors and then ran, it wouldn't matter... the temp differential is not enough to promote water/moisture.

stored semi-outside, in a garage but my garage door doesnt shut lol

between then and now we've has lots of rain, 20 degree weather and now 70 degree weather if thats a factor

I can remember about 2 weeks ago I was tinkering under the hood and could almost saturate a paper towel wiping the condensation off the EXTERIOR of my lower intake

I dont run a pcv valve but I have breathers in both valve covers with a line from the passenger breather into an intake vacuum

heres the oil I drained out. I held my work light over it as to try to show the color as best I could

It looks black but realistically it was changed less than 1100 miles ago before it sat
