Mini starter install, small wire attaches to??

hi just trying to install a mini starter along with bbk long tubes and the instructions arent very discriptive, for the small wire it says "use new wire in kit to engage the solenoid switch on new starter" so it goes from the mini starter to where exactly? positive terminal on the battery? need some help plz

im using this pic as an example, where would i hook up the small wire from the mini starter to? I dont wanna hook the wire up to something im not supposed to and fry it out or somethin.

It seems to me that you will:

At the OEM fender solenoid: Move the lone starter cable (the fat one) to the battery side of the solenoid. Now attach one end of your the little wire that came in your kit to where the starter cable used to be.

On the new starter's solenoid: Attach the other end of the small wire to the S-terminal connector on the solenoid and then the other cable.

Couldn't you also just run the small wire to the S terminal and leave everything else as is? Now you would have 2 solenoids instead of one. Seems it would be added protection if the starter mounted solenoid ever goes out and stays latched closed.

This could lead to starter run-on issue.

FWIW, in the first method, both solenoids are still used.
