Hi Guys,
Yesterday, I decided to change spark plugs on my 2002 v6. I started it from plug 1 to Plug 6. But I could not take 1-4-5-6 out. So I just replaced plugs 2 and 3.
After that when I started my car, It was misfiring (But no code). My friend said there was some smoke from plug area 1-2-3. Then I immediate turned off the ignition. Again I started the car, no smoke but it was still misfiring.
I changed the plugs with this:
http://www.autozone.com/autozone/parts/Autolite-Copper-Spark-Plug/_/N-5yc1s?itemIdentifier=106302
I gaped all the new one to .054" and also applied some dielectric grease also on the thread. Not sure what should I cheek next.

Please help !!!

I think you need to start over.
#1 The engine must be cool
#2 Pax side plugs 1-3 you need to remove the air tubes (easy) plugs accessable without much more than a plug socket and ratchet.
#3 Drive side plug 6 just a plug socket and ratchet. I do not remember using a universal on that one, but it may need one.
#4 Put anti-seize compound on new plug threads, dielectric on the side that the plug wire connects to.
#5 start new plugs with a short rubber hose on the end, thread in until you can't any more. Watch to be sure the plug is turning in the hole and not just the hose turning.
#6 tighten to specified torque.
#7 be sure the wires are on correct plug or Misfire will occur. wire sequence is printed on distributor thing, it is like 1,2,3,5,6,4 do not get this wrong.

The first time I changed mine I was ready with a bunch of tools. I was surprized to see how easy it was to do the job. Much easier than my 89 Bronco II.

^what he said.

My best bet would be you got some of the wires wrong, or it is sometimes common when taking a wire off that it may break and the tip will disconnect from the wire and stay on the plug, especially if they are newer wires. Just make sure every wire is right, and if they are, then re-check the plugs you replaced and double check the wires.

I changed the wires also. No improvement.

I checked all the connection 4-5 times, it was all good. Then finally I gave up and took the car to auto shop.

He said, one of spark plug was cracked while I was installing those. I don't know how It could have happened, but now its running GOOD.

This forum is helping me for a long time. Thanks guys for your time and suggestions.
