Got my code checked from my previous post below. Misfire in number 4. Car doesnt run too terrible. Seems to be some slight funkyness worse under avg acceleration. Had the same code pop up on my Srt4 last year. Turned out to be bad Injector but that was at 4k miles not 64k like this stang. Bad plug or Coilpack? What do you guys think.

I am assuming your car is a 99, I would change the plug and coil on #4, it's somewhat common for the #4 coil to go bad, check for any coolant leaks or water getting into the coil/plugwell

Thx A lot. Main malfunction i notice is when going up a hill at low rpm the car bogs under slight gas pressure and definately doesnt like whats goin on. And yes its a 99.

UPDATE. Just took the car out and it wasnt misfiring. Took it in 5th gear and was gassing on it at low rpms and no bog whatsoever . Only thing i can think was yesterday was cold and rainy and today is warm and dry? What possibly could the issue be. Perhaps the car sat for a long time and i had to burn some carbon off the plug? Remember i just picked the car up yesterday.

The coils go bad a lot. I work at an autoparts store and we sell a ton of them. We sell so many that I know the part number and price off the top of my head.

I appreciate the help svttech. Taking time to reply to my post means a lot. I was and still sorta am a nervous wreck that i just purchased this car and put down 3k dollars of my own money only to have an issue the day i bring it home. I can definately deal with a old coil. This car is still stock down to a paper filter(obviously not the original but still paper) and my guess is im probably still on the stock plugs and Coils. If you could toss me some quick info on what kinda coil ill need so that I can tell my mechanic id really appreciate it. Im considering just letting him do a complete Tune up on the car. I am fairly car savy but dont want any issues fixing/replacing things on the car myself just yet since i just bought it.
