I've been having a steady misfire on my car for about a month. (Some days worse then others) I couldn't get it to ever throw a code so just left it alone waiting for it to throw a code.
Today the check engine light finally came on and my OBD tells me its cylinder 3. I went ahead and changed the coil and plug for that cylinder, reset the codes, and test drove it.
It's still misfiring on #3...
The injector sounds like it's working ( Used a metal rod to hear it knocking), but that's the only way I know to check it. If it's ticking, should I assume its working properly?
What else would cause only one cylinder to misfire? Ideas?
It's a bolt on 2001 GT BTW...
