Hey guys, need some help. Been trying to pinpoint why my car is misfiring and idling rough. I sprayed some carb cleaner all over the engine and found that the rpms went up when i sprayed around the egr and injectors 2 and 3. I disconected the egr because of the ranger header I am running but I still got that damn misfire. Anybody heard of any problems relating to the injectors? Could they be bad or what? Pissing me off. Oh, and I have tested the tps, works perfectly, and calibrated perfectly. Also cleaned the idle air intake thing (forgot exactly what it was called). Any thoughts would be awsome, I really dont want to bring it to a shop, I hate having other people touch my car!

here's my problem too: its a 1987 mustang with the 2.3 motor and is used in SCCA racing, when i rev it to the factory rev limiter after a while the car starts missing, as if the rev limiter never cancelled itself. on the cool down lap when the rpm's are very low she seems to clear up and run fine. could it be a bad EEC-IV? i've put in a new coil, 9mm wires, new cap and rotor and even a new TFI module, still get the miss. help!
