My radiator has a small leak and I was looking at getting an aluminum radiator. I wasn't able to find the Fluidyne radiator for less than $350 before I found these Mishimoto radiators that the import-car guys love. Mishimoto supposedly makes a "drop-in replacement" for the '94 Mustang for around $200.

Does anyone have any experience with Mishimoto? I'm wondering what kind of quality I can expect. Any other suggestions?

We had a group buy on them last year. Lots of details in this thread about what to expect: http://forums.stangnet.com/showthread.php?t=705826

Also, shopping type thread - moved to talk.

I'm asking for feedback, not store suggestions.

I don't see the reason for this being moved . . . I'm not asking where to buy something, I'm asking for feedback on a manufacturer or alternative manufacturer suggestions.

Also, there wasn't a lot of follow up responses in the thread you linked, just complaints on initial purchasing problems. What about six months later? How are these holding up?

Please move this thread back to where it was . . .

I can say that mine did not last... I had a SLOW leak out the radiator cap, never got the time to get it fixed. I actually hit a pothole hard enough that 5 or 6 of teh braze joints around the fins cracked. this was probably exacerbated by the fact that my radiator fit really tight on the pass side lower mount... and it is the passenger side the cracked...

so I say buyer beware, although the car did run cooler with it than the stocker...

You're looking for opinions, or recommendations on a part you're looking to buy, also weighing the pros and cons of said part against others, thus making it essentially a shopping thread. It's no different than the thread I started last week about G-Force transmissions, asking opinions from those who have them, or have experience with them. This one will remain in talk.
