miss fireing arfhhhhhh

hi guys the other day i was out and about and decided to punch it from the stop as i was getting on it i noticed it was misfireing like a mother f-er at about 3700 rpms in 2nd it might have missed fire in first but the car is to freaken loud i couldnt hear i changed the spark plugs and the old ones were real white does that have somthing of it running lead like not enogh fuel? :shrug: :bang: :bang: :bang: :bang:
 
Three possiblites:
1.) worn plugs, wires cap or rotor
2. Bad TFI module (TFI is mounted on the distributor on models built prior to 94).
3. Weak fuel pump or clogged fuel filter.

Do a complete tune up with plugs, wires, cap, rotor, air & fuel filters and then re-check your problem.

If you have a fuel pressure gauge or can borrow one, check the the fuel pressure. It should be 38 PSI at idle with the vacuum line disconnected from the fuel pressure regulator. Plugging or capping the loose end of the vacuum line doesn't have any effect on the fuel pressure, so don't worry about that.
