Didn't think I'd be missing my old Mustang so soon, but it looks like I'll be replacing my S2 SRT-4 much sooner than I would have thought/hoped. Where I live, I'm lucky enough to have an "Authorized" Ford dealer for: Roush, Saleen, Shelby, Foose and Steeda...so I have a bunch to choose from. Actually prefer the Foose and Steeda over the others. The Shelby GT Mustangs are nice too, but I guess they should be nice since they're usually optioned out enough to get the sticker near 50k...and that still just gets you a N/A engine. Just thought I'd mention it...

IMO, don't waste the money on one of those pre-modded cars. It's so much easier to find a used 05, or lightly used 06 (like a demo car), or even a sellout 06 and just go with that and have some fun. 3v's are making some great power NA, there is also the PH turbo kit.

Priced a few '07 Mustang GTs and I was impressed with the options - heated seats, "leather upgrade", DVD Navigation, interior upgrades, factory installed racing stripes...

This time I wanted something a little different and pre-modded since I'm hoping to not do ANY mods to the car after I buy it. Saw where ModularPowerHouse is starting to sell some new lightly modded Mustangs at a local Nashville dealership for around 35-36k which looked pretty good to me. Right now though, I'd be happy with an optioned out '07 GT with a dealer installed Drag package. :hail2:

That will change a few months after you buy one. :nice:

oh you know you will mod :D. get the thing loaded on the interior and stripped on the ext, spend a few grand on wheels and ext mods and a s/c kit. the new body style is such a step up to drive daily over the 94-04's. although the verts ive driven do seem to rattle a bit

The modding? Perhaps not, this time. Main reason I got rid of my '02 - got tired of doing mods and still needed to do some more to it when I sold it. That's why I did all my mods to the SRT4 right after I got it...and stopped, because I didn't want to spend 4 years modding it like I did to the Mustang. Getting too old and too lazy to spend time putting mods on my cars.
