I bought my 2001 Cobra about three weeks ago and the car drove like a dream for the first couple of weeks. Yesterday I noticed that the car was sort of jerking or maybe missing when held at a constant speed around 1900/2000RPM's. It's hard to describe, the car will respond well and run great if I push it past this RPM range, but a constant easy pedal pressure with the RPM's in this band will make the car buck for a bit until the revs go above or below this range. Anyone else seen this? Any suggestions on how to eliminate it.

I think I've fixed the problem. When changing the air filter (the original very nasty FOMOCO piece by all appearances) I found a big piece of plastic inside the filter box after removing the air filter. It looks like this thing must have been sucked into the airbox at some point and I have to believe it was flapping around and blocking the airflow, causing the stuttering. If the weathers nice this weekend I'll take the car out and see if the problem is gone.
