due to a small underhood fire, I had to pull all the wiring and reloom it. along the way I messed up something for the charging system. it starts and runs fine, but the alternator is not charging the battery. I'm pretty sure it s something in the rats nest under the starter solenoid, there were some bad grounds I had to fix. does this look like the correct hookup? what would be the procedure to chase down whats unhooked?

Don't know the year but you might want to check the alt wiring, specifically the charge cable wiring and the sense circuit wiring. There are fusible links on both circuits. They should both show battery voltage (if one reads zero volts, it's open).

89 lx. these are the inline fuses inside the looms right? where should I check them, at the alternator?
