Mixing injectors

Is it ok to mix different fuel injectors (brands) just as long as they all have the same fuel rate (19#)? I'm trying to buy a set of used injectors but one of the injectors has a broken pintle cap. Instead of replacing all my injectors, I'm wondering about just using a few of the "used" set to replace a few of my leaking injectors (leaking b/c the injector is broken....not an o-ring).

If you have a stock or lightly modified vehicle there is nothing inherently bad about mixing and matching injectors though I would not make it a point to recommend doing so. They should all flow with similar numbers but things aren't always as advertised which is why many people flow-match their injectors.

Just go to the auto parts store and put a new cap on....they sell em in an injector rebuild kit...its like 5 bucks comes with new o rings too.

Yeah, I tried that but they don't sell the caps at my local autopart store. They've got o-rings but no caps.

I think I'm just going with some new injectors from Summit Racing. Decent price with no worries.
