MM Firewall Adjuster problem, ideas?

ive been using the mm firewall adjuster for 4 months. i bought the cable, quadrant, and firewall adjuster kit.
everythings fine except the fwa keeps working itself out of adjustment. is there a way i can make it harder to turn?
has anyone had this problem?

Wow I had the exact opposite problem...was too hard to turn! You could replace the rubber bushing with some new or thicker tubing or something, or just buy another brands click-type adjuster (what I wish I had done, even though mm makes a quality product the firewall adjuster kinda sucks).

Mine falls back sometimes also. Do you have a triple hook quadrant? You may try a different hook to see if it holds better but I'm not sure if that would even change things.
