I had a little free time on my hands and I've always like the Red 71-73 Mach 1...so I tried the paint scheme on my GT..the stormin normin hood for the GT is very similiar to the Mach hood and would be painted the same

The red/black two tone combination doesn't look too bad but i think maybe you could do without the side stripe. A bit much in my opinion, might make it look a little tacky.

I was never a big fan of the 71-73 Stangs, but did enjoy Eleanor from Gone in 60 Seconds as she was pretty sweet.
