mockup of Ultrastang SN-95 rear disc kit

That's cool, so there's not too much of a compatibility issue there. Is that a 68 softline I see hanging behind the axle tube in this picture?

The rear end pictured is a 9-inch drum brake rear that came from an '80 Mercury Monarch, but the center brake hose is pretty much identical to the flexible hose that used to go to the 8-inch rear that came stock in my '68.

If you do not connect up the parking brakes, I would suggest getting underneath your car every few months and manually actuating the parking brake mechanisms through several cycles to keep the pistons adjusted to compensate for pad wear.

No problem.. nice product and well worth it to me.

How would you manually move those mechanisms?? I can't budge them by hand myself with the big spring on them. $11 each for splash shields?.. I guess I need to check your instructions again for P/N's, might be worth it for mine. I think my brackets will work for emergency brakes but can't test until I finalize it all and get the floor pans back in.
