ok i just went to the track last night and ran a best of 13.73 @ 100.40 with a 1.9 60ft. right now i am on a tight budget but want to get faster. what would help bring down my time a little besides nitrous and blower. i know i could at least hit high 13.6's because i spun a little bit.

my mods are - cold air, diablosport chip, 4:10's, nitto dr's, bassani catted x, flows, drop springs

You could try removing the front sway bar, rear seats, the passanger headlight, and the spare tire & jack. Thats all free and could get you some lower E.T.s. Just something to try. I dont know how much $$ you have to spend but a timing adjuster and pullies or the Accufab TB + plenum or some drag shocks or LCA's might help? Good luck

LT headers, pulleys, tb & plenum. There are any number of modifications you can make.

Are you very good at doing the installs yourself? If so LT's are a good kick in the pants. If you are really up to a task some cams are not too expensive to buy, but install is expensive if you dont do it yourself.

If you got LTs you would need to get a new mid pipe. The cams will run you close to 600 plus you'll need a tune, for that price you could get a N2O kit and really be flying. Like I said I dont know how much loot you're looking to spend.

Yeah how much are we talkin here?

Also you could look on the trader or ebay and get some used parts for less $$.

Try and get some V8 fox body springs for the rear and 4cyl for the front to help weight transfer. I have seen people get those from junk yards, traders, ebay for less than $100 total. Like the other guy said weight reduction is good, also the sway bar.

If you only have a few hundred to spend I would go with pulleys or LCA's. No need for TA because of your diablo.

If you have $500 get the pulleys, LCA's, and maybe TB and Plenum.

That's a pretty good 60 ft time...I'd get the LCA's and try and improve it...better your 60ft time by a tenth or more and you can cut a bunch off that et...
Your springs are hurting your et as well....just an FYI if you didn't know...all and all good times though!!!!!!!!!1

If you're going to even mess with doing the control arms, you might as well do both while your under the car. I recommend adjustable uppers as well because you can adjust your pinion angle and set it where you want it. As for lower control arms, you don't need an adjustable one unless if you're building an all out race setup. Steeda, UPR, Maximum Motorsports, Metco, and Global West are some good ones. I have UPR double adjustable uppers with spherical bushings and Maximum Motorsport solid drag lowers with Polyeurethane bushings on one side and none on the other. This setup works well but was expensive. If your shopping on a budget, Steeda or UPR is going to be your best bet.

Since you have an automatic and you're racing it, I think you better get a transmission cooler before you burn up that transmission. I'de also recommend saving up for a torque converter and shift kit in the future as well.

Go to TCCoA.com and check out tech articles, then transmissions. Basically a safer way to improve your shifting rather than getting a shift kit. It explains why. It was written by Jerry W. who helped design the 4R70W or something like that.
