Since you asked I will offer this option for your consideration. I've actually started a small craze over this swap at the VMF recently. When paired with either a new vinyl or leather cover from Mr. Mikes they can look very much like a vintage Mach 1 seat only with more modern bolstering to keep you planted.

here is the drivers seat from a 94 that is in a 66. Got it pretty cheap on ebay and going to have them wrapped in black leather for around $700.

I'm finally coming across some better deals on ebay. How long would an average upholstery shop take to reupholster a seat or two?

The one I'm going to in SD, CA said it would take no more than two days if I drop it off to them. Im going to use Katskin leather...they also have some custom Mustang options

that is interesting, "Katskin" leather. do you happen to know how many cats I'll have to catch to get enough leather to do the seats?
