I tried posting this in the cobra forum, but I guess they don't like answering my questions. I have a 97 cobra with an a/t catback, and tinted windows. I am getting ready to do my first round of mods, and I have a few questions. For springs, would you guys suggest prokit, or sportline? I originally wanted the sportlines, until I read the reviews, something about crushing the e brake cable. Then I looked at the reviews on prokits, and the drop is anything but consistant. I would probably get pissed if I only got 1/2 inch drop after messing with the install. Another reason for going with the prokit, was the ability to keep alignment, without c.c. plates, and most reviews said to use them on both. Anybody have any personal experiences to share? Next on the list is 4:10 gears. The deal that I am getting on these is too good to pass up. what should I expect? From what I gather each gear pretty much acts like the lower one did before swapping. I could be wrong, but I think my cobra has 3:08 right now. what kind of 0 to 60 times should I expect if I actually get good traction on street tires? Iam also going to put some illumina shocks and struts on at the same time as the springs, Opinions? and finally a prochamber. I have heard that that should wake up my delta mufflers. Any comments or suggestions are greatly appreciated. thanks, chris
