hey i am in the process of modifiying the interior/trunk of my 67 coupe and i was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to go about do some of the things i want to do. I have a couple of 10" subs that i was going to put into the trunk but now i am thinking about eliminating the back seat and putting them right there along with the amp. what do you think. also does anyone have any connections on how to get ahold of a brushed aluminum dash? thanks in advance.

You can buy the brushed aluminum stuff from the vendors, some of it is real cheap vinyl stickers and others are real aluminum inserts that are better than original (expensive).

that is a good point and that is why i wanted to put them in the trunk. also with them in the trunk it is an easy way to finish the trunk off for show purposes. and dont worry im not one of those people that is going to have it blaring i just want it to look good and have good sound.

I've actually given this some thought as well. My conclusion was to keep the rear seat but have the box flush mounted behind the seat, sealing off the trunk in such a manner that it would look great with or without the seat in place. I think 10's would mount in a conventional manner to make this possible. I had 12's at the time and had considered a ported, wooden box with the subs recessed and mounted in a manner that would essentially have them firing cone to cone, whether horizontally or vertically. PM me if you don't follow what I'm saying or would like to discuss it further as it is hard to explain verbally.
