ok i just got my 87 5.0 5 speed its got springs and a strut tower brace. the exhaust is a prochamber with flowmasters. also i have 3.73 and mass air conversion going in this week. i got some cash about 3500 i was just wondering what are some ways i can get into the 12s if at all possible? also i have to drive it everyday. thanks for your help

H/C/I (heads cam Intake) aswell as some good tires i.e. slicks and or drag radials. Suspension mods will help you quite a bit aswell. maybe some strange 10 way adjustable struts and shocks. aftermarket upper and lower control arms for the rear are also a much needed mod on a mustang. and to get you deep into the 12 if not 11's a little giggle gas.

yes those kits work well and i would definetally want to do a mass airflow conversion on your 87 so that you can run a decent cam. it is always a good idea to upgrade the stock fuel system. as for injectors it would be good to go to a 24 lb one. i have seen peeps post that stock fuel pump is only good for about 300 ponies so definetally upgrade that.

i agree a H/C/I will do it along with 24#ers, 75MM tb, 75mm maf, and other little mods. if u have a nice street radial u will see high 12 and if u have slick u would dip into the mid 12's.

i would look into to the kits that are out there. like the TFS H/C/I combo.

I think a properly setup h/c/i will go deeper than high 12's. 25th's car (the guy above me) runs 12.5 on factory heads and cam. I think with proper heads, a good cam, and a nice flowing intake to go with it, mid 12's are in reach easily.

Listen to 25th, That boy is a REAL racer! He takes it to the track and has found out what works there, not on a dyno! :hail2:

Imagine if I only had some suspension and a real motor under the hood! :nice:

12s arent too hard to reach, just match the parts and drive the car hard! Practice will knock off tenths of seconds just as easily as hp will!
