I was going to say the same for 12's and 11's.... LMAO!
I've got a weird, WEIRD feeling he's talking about starting from stock and going faster. Now, if you bought a 10 sec. factory Mustang, that's pretty impressive.

Thanks, I had lost that.
2004 Mustang GT 5-speed.
My best was a 13.20 at 104MPH with a 1.83 60'.
I've only been racing for one season and I think I can knock another tenth or two off with more seat time on the track. BTW I weigh about 270 lbs so that doesn't help things LOL!
Mods:
For "booking": 3.73 gears, CAI, 70mm throttle body, plenum, Comp262AH cams, catted-X, cat-back, dyno-tuned. 265rwhp/300rwtq on a Dynojet.
For "hooking": battery relocated to trunk, A/C delete, Maximum Motorsports extreme duty Lower Control arms, Strange adjustable struts and shocks, Weld Draglite 15X8 rear wheels with BFG Drag Radials, line-lock for burnout assistance, passenger seat removed at the strip.
I'm hoping for 12s this season with more practice, skinnies in the front, and long-tube headers.

opcorn:hehe, wait, are we talking daily drivers or drag cars!
Bill did daily drive his car.

Bill did daily drive his car.
Yes I did but in all fairness most people would consider it a drag car.
However the basic info in that thread still is valid and I made the point that the more power added the less weight reduction is needed (what usually people consider making a car a drag car).

Too many factors. Track experience, track prep, DA, etc...
I suggest to just hit the track, be safe, and have fun.
