Hey Guys

Well when i bought my car the guy thought it had a blown head gasket so I got it for cheap, I took off upper/lower intake and changed all gaskets, including the one for the coolant jacket by throttle body. When i bought it, the smoke was very easily noticable. Now there is no noticable smoke and no more coolant smell, but looking behind the exhaust there is ALOT of moisture, like puddles, I was wondering if this is normal. Its an 88 GT (Speed Density if it matters) and it does have all new exhaust, with all the cats removed and super turbos...no cats cause this? just curious I guess.

well, if i let my stang sit and idle for a bit, or especially if i rev it, then i can see wet spots on the ground. Its not a puddle, but it just looks moist. I have shortys, bbk x w/ cats and 40 series flows.

just taste the water, it should have no sweet taste to it, and don't forget that 5.0
s produce alot of steam and moisture so i wouldn't worry about it, you probably fixed the problem doin all the gaskets.

I have 350 miles on my 347 and have it too. Its just condensation, nothing to freak out on.

If it's cool outside where you are, it may be just condensation. Drive the car and get it good and warm, then park it and see if the moisture is still comming from the tail pipe.

Perhaps you fixed the prob when you did the upper and lower,TB and is that left over from prev prob??
