If you wanted to stay NA and given the mods in my sig how would you spend about $3,000? I would like to break 300 rwhp and keep the powre as low in the rpm band as possible.

I'll add that currently I am sched to take the stang in for custom grind cams, stg 3 port on the heads, bbk longtubes, and matching o\r mid pioe, and valve job, also all the supporting replacement parts like new cam chains, etc., the motor has 115k on it and I have been the only ownre.

Thanks for your ideas!

If you're already planning on cams, and want to stay NA, i'd say get a pair of nice P&P heads

EDIT:
Looks like you're already planning on P&P heads too. Not sure what's left my friend... suspension work won't help your rwhp... there's always a new intake (Trickflow, Reichards, Bullitt)

Assuming the 3k is separate from the heads/cam and exhaust costs, there are a bunch of things you can do to increase N/A power.

Look into an aftermarket intake manifold. There are quite a few options out there now like the Bullit, Logan Motorsports, and the HPS Hardball. Electric water pump. Oil pan with a nice trap door baffle, one way windage tray and crank scraper. A good oil pan can add about 10 RWHP. Lot's of people use the stock follower/rocker and lifter even with aftermarket camshafts and springs. There is a shop called Second Street Speed that has a kit for the 2 valve that includes a custom set of followers/rockers, lifters, and adjusters. Dyno tests that I have seen on some 2 valves show on average a 20 RWHP/25 RWTQ peak gain. The set isn't cheap though. About $1750. And if you are wanting to keep your power curves under 6k RPM's, that might not be for you.

You are going to need money for some proper dyno tuning as well. I can spend your 3k really quick. :)

I know you said you want to stay NA but why spend all that money staying NA when you could spend about half of that and be making the same or even more power? Not saying staying NA is bad just wondering.

I would basicaly say your just about maked out staying NA other than a new intake, like already mentioned.

If I were you Id save up for forged SB and blower. With the mods you have you could make some killer power with a blower.

Let me ask you this. do you just want to see 300rwhp? or do you want the car to perform quicker overall?
The reason I ask is this. If I had 3 large and wanted to see a big improvement I would first start with gears, then an aluminum flywheel and driveshaft. For an overall perfromance gain those mods are hard to beat. I think you could do that and have about 2 gees left over.
