hey guys, i got myself a 331 w/ a s-trim, the motor is done up right, heads , cam, intake, fuel system is ok nothing special.. I have about 2300 bucks i can spend right now an the things i need are: Tranny , Suspension , Brakes.. I need other stuff but those are the main guys right now that im focusing on ! I have my stock t5 but i have so much hp an tq that i cant grab at all an just spin so my tranny has really no load on it at all.. Cant launch the only thing i can do is gradually get on it on the roll.. I have the stock 93 suspension set up with subframe connectors, an aftermarket brake pads an rotors.. Buuut , i have this money to spend, and i know i can get one of those mods out of the way.. What do you guys suggest ? ? Thanks !

tranny huh... If i were to do a baer brake conversion, maybe 5 lug, doesnt that come with new axles ? mimosa right ??

what type of rearend are u guys running.. Im pushin around 480 rwhp on a street tune.. that should give u an idea what i have under the hood..

Breaks! With that much power you gotta get your car to stop. You can work around the tranny and rear end by shifting nicer but the stock breaks gotta go. Breaks are probably going to be more expensive than the other things so get that out of the way now while you have the money. It won't be as hard to build up some funds for the other stuff.

I would get the Baer brakes set up with the new axles an all that great stuff.. THe 13inch rotor and the 12 inch in the back.. But then I would also need to get a set of rims for my 5 lug conversion.. I believe the 5 lug converison costs around 1800 ?? Im not sure on that one exactly, I might be confusing that with the Griggs coil over kit I was also thinking about getting ??

Damn ! so many choices, I kind of like the tranny , suspension , brakes idea.. I was orginally going to go with that, but the more i think about it.. My tranny can stick around since im not launching.. But if i got suspension, that means i have better traction, with traction there goes my tranny.. But if i get brakes that doesnt affect anything but my stopping time which it should always be Safety first !

Brake kits wouldn't come with the axles, only the things needed to get the kit to work on your car(order 5 lug if you have 5 lug currently). You'd have to get SN-95 style spindles up front as well as axles.

I have the A-sedan(12"all the way around) and they work MUCH better than stock, I plan on upgrading the fronts when I get larger wheels. I got them 2nd hand(but never used) for ~700.

I have 3.55s with a auburn & T/A girdle. I will have around 560 RWHP after I get the 8psi on and plan on getting 28 spline axles, but keep in mind that I never plan on running anything stickier than a DOT street slick, and MIGHT take it to the track once or twice to see what it will do(its more of a weekend/road race car).

Ur right Sicarius, The Baer kits do come with axles, options up to 31 spline and 5 lug conversion.. Like that guy above you said you can either have the Sn95 or the fox body spindel kit.. Either or.. the Sn95 is supposed to be better but I really dont know anything about it.. But Im thinking about just holding off an doing the Baer brake kit and the GR40 kit all at the same time, save me some labor money.. The kit cost's about 2200 I think, I can get a 10% discount, nothing major but its something..
