With the vortech mongoose kit, should I forge my internals first or will it still be safe daily driver. If i need to forge my internals what do you suggest I do to reinforce the engine? Any help would be great.
You shouldnt have to forge the internals with the Mongoose kit unless you are running over 400 HP at the wheels. Tim has got cars as high as 420 I believe that still had the stock heads and internals, but that is pushing it a little I think. MPH has an outstanding reputaion for outstanding tunes that are very safe.
Bottom line..under 400 is pretty safe. Over 400...pushing your luck on a stock engine.
Like I said before....over 400 you will be pushing it. Tim should be able to tell you about how much power you will make, and then suggest if you should forge your internals. You really cant go wrong with MPH, they will be sure to get you running and as safe as possbile. It sounds like you are familair with thier website, have you checked out their tunning section?
